How "Ask A Quote" funtionality works?

The steps can be followed as demonstrated, irrespective of the minor interface differences caused by version enhancements.

Manage quotes in DesignO to simplify sales and track customer requests efficiently.


Step 1: Log in to the DesignO admin panel.

Step 2: Click Quotations in the left menu to access all quotes.

Step 3: Review the Quotations dashboard. See order IDs for converted quotes and check statuses like Approved, Pending, or Rejected. Download any quote as a PDF.

Step 4: Click a quote to view its status and details: Pending (new), Online (customer-submitted), or Offline (admin-created).

Step 5: Open a customer request or create a new offline quote. Edit details—expiry date, salesperson, source, and customer requirements.

Step 6: Enter product info, pricing, discounts, tax, and shipping. DesignO auto-calculates totals. Add more products if needed.

Step 7: Enable notifications to email the customer. Submit the quote.

Step 8: To create a new offline quote, fill in recipient, product, and pricing details. Notify and submit.

Step 9: Log in as the customer to view quotes. Click My Quotes in the left panel to see and review received quotes.

Step 10: Approve, edit, resend, or reject a quote directly. Status updates instantly.
