Web Navigation in a web is the user experience design of processes that businesses want customers to follow for buying their products from the e-commerce or for completion of any other tasks. The fundamentals of any navigation design are to create an information architecture that helps customers find their desired function or product from the web platform seamlessly.

Navigation prompts users to take actions that will help businesses fulfill their business goals. Since each platform has its own set of goals, processes and functions, user navigation will be different and unique for each platform. Thus, navigation for each platform is established on many different factors, But, a few of these major factors would be based on the processes of the business, customer persona and business goals.
