CMYK Process

CMYK Process

The CMYK process is a four-color printing method primarily used for projects that contain multi-colored images or designs. These projects include manuals, magazines, brochures, books, catalogs, etc. CMYK printing is a subtractive method widely used in offset and digital printing, making it more affordable. It features the use of cyan, yellow, magenta, and black colors.

These colors are applied as tiny dots in separate layers to create solid colors similar to pixels in a digital image. Furthermore, they can produce thousands of shades and colors if applied in overlapping layers in various concentrations. CMYK process produces a higher quality print than a typical print in RGB.
