Shipping Method

Shipping Method

Shipping methods are the channels or modes of transportation via which a customer wants to receive their product delivery. Many platforms provide different shipping methods to customers at altered prices and the methods also vary in terms of the number of days.

For instance, an e-commerce platform can ask customers to choose between a standard or an express delivery. In this, the delivery time of standard delivery will be longer compared to an express delivery but customers might have to pay a premium to get express delivery.

Similarly, e-commerce platforms can also put options for ground, water or air delivery options with each having its own set of pricing and delivery conditions.
