How to setup Packaging product in DesignO
Learn to set up a packaging product in DesignO. This guide walks through the process of setting up a packaging product.
Step 1: Copy a SKU from the eCommerce store.
Step 2: Navigate to the product page in DesignO and Click on Add Product.
Step 3: Select the store in which you want to add the product.
Step 4: Click on Save and Continue.
If an error message appears stating that the packaging product does not exist, verify and update the SKU if necessary.
Step 5: Click on Save and Continue again.
Step 7: Click on Edit product for further configurations of the product.
Step 8: Select type of the the product as a packaging product.
Step 9: Enable "Is Customizable Product?" toggle.
Step 10: Select the correct personalization profile.
Step 11: Select the desired box model.
Choose a packaging product model from the available options. If a desired design is not available, reach out to our team for your specific model.
Step 12: Enter the height and width of the box.
Step 13: Click on Submit.
The packaging product is now ready to see on the storefront.
Step 14: Open the website and search for the product and navigate to the product.
Step 15: Click on the personalization option.

View the product in 3D and its design.
Download the dieline.
The dieline, which includes perforated lines and lines for folding or cutting, is downloaded according to the size of the packaging product.
Update the size of the packaging product in studio.
View the part of the box being designed.
Move the design area.
Open and close the lid of the box.
