How to add a merchandise product in DesignO

This guide explains how to add a merchandise product to Design O. Merchandise products can include T-shirts, mugs, buttons, caps, and more. The process involves selecting the product from an ecommerce store, personalizing it in the Design O studio, and enabling it for customer personalization.

Adding a Product to Design O

Step 1: Navigate to the products section in Design O.

Step 2: Click on Add Products.




Step 3: Select the store from which to add the product and enter its SKU.



Step 4: Verify the SKU of the product.



Step 5: Click on the product to select it.



Enabling Product for Personalization

Step 6: Enable the product for personalization at the front end.




Step 7: Alternatively, disable the product for personalization.



Step 8: Select other details according to requirements.



Setting Product Details

Step 9: Assign the product to the appropriate store.




Step 10: Select the product type as merchandise.



Step 11: Choose the number of sides for customer design.



Step 12: Select the color option for the product (single or multicolor).



Step 13: Choose the pricing logic and printing method.

Step 14: Mark the product as customizable.




Step 15: Select the appropriate product profile.



Step 16: Choose the production profile.



Uploading Product Images

Step 17: Upload the product image for the front side.




Step 18: Upload the product image for the back side.



Step 19: Click on the Settings option to view the uploaded image.



Step 20: Select the Custom option to assign the design area.



Step 21: Adjust the design area according to need.



Step 22: Save the design area settings.



Step 23: Repeat the process for the back side.



Step 24: Define the custom area for the back side.



Step 25: Select the design area for the back side.



Step 26: Manage the height and width of the output.



Step 27: Save the settings.



Step 28: Click on Submit to finalize the product.



Checking the Product at the Front End

Step 29: Go to the front end using Design O.




Step 30: Find the new product and click on its color and size.



Step 31: Click on the Personalize option.



Step 32: View the design area for the front and back sides.



Step 33: Make any necessary changes to the design.



Step 34: Upload any artwork if needed.



Step 35: Switch the site of the design.



Step 36: Change the color of the T-shirt.



Step 37: Assign the color to the T-shirt from the ecommerce store.



Step 38: Impose the color on a white T-shirt based on the hex code.
