Fulfillment Warehouse

Fulfillment Warehouse

Also known as the fulfillment house or fulfillment center, fulfillment warehouses are third-party logistics partner locations where they receive, assemble and process the orders. In many multi-vendor e-commerce platforms where customers can get multiple orders from multiple vendors, these orders are often first gathered and shipped at a single location by the logistics partner.

These orders when reaches the fulfillment warehouse; they are processed and made ready for shipping by the logistics partner as per the customer or platform instructions and then sent for delivery to the customers. Some also use a fulfillment warehouse as an in-house packaging depot where goods are packed with optimum safety materials for safe and damage-free delivery of fragile and perishable goods.
