Foil Emboss

Foil Emboss

A foil emboss is a raised layer of foil to give texture and contrast to texts and images. It involves stamping a metallic foil on a raised area using particular type of dies and heat. The embossing process uses a blind impression to create depth or height without ink.

Foil can create metallic, holographic, matte, and glossy textures on plastic, paper, or card surfaces. It is ideal for products with dark colors as it does not affect their color or texture.

Foil emboss is a versatile way of enhancing print packaging and creating environment-friendly embellishments. It adds extra flourish and sophistication to the printing process and also complements other printing techniques.
