Digital Commerce

Digital Commerce

Digital Commerce is a form of online selling where no humans are intervening in the product purchasing process. Right from sales to marketing to product delivery, every aspect of the business is automated and thus, there are no humans required to make the online sale and delivery.

Unlike eCommerce where there are still human representatives handling the marketing, customer service or delivery, with the advent of automated delivery and sales channels, there are certain platforms that have completely automated their platform. These platforms can be said to be practicing digital commerce.

In this type of commerce, there are cognitive technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and IoT involved. These technologies replace the human factor and create a completely automated platform where humans are only involved in setting the fundamental rules of the platform and norms of the purchase.
