DesignO Pricing Part 2 - Configure Product Pricing
DesignO Pricing Part 2 - Configure Product Pricing
This guide outlines the process of configuring product pricing using DesignO. After setting up the product configuration, the next step involves defining the pricing configurations.
Click on actions for the chosen product and select Pricing Configuration.
Step 2: Define Pricing Type
The pricing configuration allows for pricing setup based on the unit (quantity ordered) or size (e.g., square unit area ordered). For a sticker product, select Per Unit if pricing depends on the quantity ordered.
Step 3: Set Base Price
After choosing the pricing type, set up the base price for the product, if applicable. Define the pricing applicable to any quantity ordered or set up different prices for different quantities.
If the price for a sticker depends on the quantity ordered, select this option. If pricing varies based on size, turn on this option to define the price based on size.
Upon selection, all size and quantity options get pre-defined.
Define the per unit pricing for the respective size and quantity.
Step 4: Set Custom Options
After setting up the base price, move to setting up the cost custom option pricing. There are two ways to set custom option pricing. If a custom option's pricing is absolute (a fixed price added to the product), define a minimum fee for this option and any setup fee linked to it.
Step 5: Set Custom Options Price
Open the system to view the price already set.
View all custom options available for this product on the front end, including shipping, printing time, rounded corners, lamination, and material.
Define the per unit charges for each custom option.
Set the pricing for printing time and rounded corner option pricing. If the rounded corner option depends on the size of the product, set the pricing for different quantities and sizes.
Enter the price for each size and quantity.
If manual pricing entry is not preferred, download a CSV format for setting up the pricing for this product. Save the CSV file and import it along with the pricing by clicking on the Upload CSV button.
Use the option to give values for multiple options in one go. For example, set the price to zero dollars if rounded corners have not been applied and set to no.
DesignO pricing allows defining the pricing for material in combination with rounded corners.
DesignO allows defining if the pricing for a custom option is derived or dependent on other custom options.
Define that pricing for material is dependent on rounded corners. It varies for different quantities ordered and sizes.
Set the pricing one by one or download the CSV, specify the values, and import it again.
After setting the pricing for all options and dependent options, save it.
Step 6 : Save as Template
Save it as a template to use for other products with similar pricing logic.
This saves significant time in setting up the pricing from scratch. After setting the pricing, verify if the pricing works correctly in the front end.
