Checkout

Checkout as the name suggests is the process of making the purchase or completing the buying process of a digital platform. Once a customer is satisfied with the product and its details, they proceed to make the purchase and as soon as they add the product or service to the cart they start the checkout process.

Each digital platform has its own process of checkout where they gather information from customers regarding the modes of payment, product shipping address, billing address and other customer contact information.

Once, the customers fill in all the details and make the payment, the checkout process is said to be complete. But, there are many instances they hesitate the make the purchase due to some issues which in the digital world is known as cart abandonment.
